Today is a Saturday, which is usually a really productive day for me. I have a whole list of things I wanted to do today. Instead I spent pretty much the whole day clearing rubble.

This is where I started today. Mounds and mounds of debris. I spent many hours shoveling. The worst job in any demolition project.

And at the end of the day I wasn't even really done.

The first thing I did was properly pile up all the wood into one side of the room.

Getting rid of this pile is going to be the next week's job, I don't think the magnitude of the pile is obvious in this picture, but that white strip down the edge is a standard radiator, meaning the pile is approximately waist high. Insanity.

My next job was to clear the concrete dust.

I filled 10 heavy duty bin bags with rubble. As it turns out, heavy duty bin bags are not strong enough for concrete. So I am not entirely sure how I am going remove them from the room. But hey at least it is not just piles of rubble on the floor.

The really sad but about this is, that isn't even all the rubble. I ran out of bin bags before I finished.

This pile is what remains, which I think will fill two more bin bags. Clearing the concrete then gave me the space to start removing the render on the back wall. It is going slowly to start because the angle makes it hard to use the tool, meaning I learnt a valuable lesson, next time start in the middle of the wall not on an edge.

Next step for this room is to clear this patch of wall of render, and then make a hole in the floor to finally make a real dent on removing the rubbish.

Next step overall is the same as above, however to keep enjoying myself, I will also be continuing to demolish the room that will be my bathroom.
